A Deep Learning Approach for Leaf Features Extraction from Leaf Image

Abstract

Deep Learning has achieved a success in image recognition. Deep Learning is a subclass of the Machine Learning. In Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is popular approach. In this paper, we have addressed and proposed A Deep Learning Approach called CNN-KNN based hybrid approach for extracting the features of leaf and then KNN classifier is applied to predict the plant using extracted features. In this paper, we have shown that the accuracy obtained by CNN-KNN based Hybrid approach is efficient when compared to accuracy obtained by the other models.
