Thermoelastic Analysis Of Cylinders With Internal Heat Source
Abstract
This paper deals with three problems on cylinder. Here an attempt has been made to
determine the temperature distribution, displacement and thermal stresses of a finite length hollow
cylinder (thin and thick) and solid cylinder, in which sources are generated according to the linear
function of the temperature, with radiation type boundary conditions by applying integral transform
techniques. Numerical calculations are carried out for a particular case of cylinder (Aluminum metal)
and result are depicted graphically.
