The Influence of Nutrient Intake on Student Learning Values

Abstract

Nutrient intake was an effort to meet a person's nutritional needs in the form of a diet of the amount, type and frequency of daily meals. Nutrient intake directly affects the body's adequacy of calories, protein, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, and can sustainably influence energy which impacts on concentration and capture power. Preliminary studies conducted on students in West Aceh based on the questionnaire asked showed that lack of concentration and grasp which can be judged from the scores obtained turned out to be a prominent factor is that there are still many students who lack good nutrition so that it affects the body's needs. The purpose of research was to look at the effect of nutrition intake on student learning values. The research method was an analytic survey with cross sectional design, the study population was all 2019 students of 100 students, the study sample was a total sampling of 100 students, the sampling technique was accidental sampling, research data processing used was SPSS 22, the analysis test used was the Test of Simple linear Regression. The research result was showed that there was an effect of protein, fat, carbohydrate, and energy with student learning values (P value 0.0005 <0.05). The research conclusion was nutrient intake has a significant influence on student learning scores, so it was very important in maintaining and improving achievement and even intelligence, students pay attention to nutrition intake that is regulated in daily eating patterns.
