Age And Gender Detection By Using Svm Algorithm

Abstract

image face is one of the best ways of Recognition age and gender people. In this
paper, we suggest an algorithm for recognizing age and gender to by using ten different
persons in 5 different age stages The proposed algorithm Recognition Age and Gender ,
Preprocessing for the resulting image must be carried out by eliminating the noise, resizing
the images and increasing the contrast, then measuring the distance from the classification, the
image by using (SVM), calculate the features( by using Eccentricity ,Orientation
,perimeter ,Solidity and Gabor Wavelet where ,there are 52 features (48 features from Gabor
Wavelet , Eccentricity ,Orientation ,perimeter and Solidity). The results in the training step
were (SVM gave 100%). While in the testing stage we used classifier (Modify of the
Euclidian Distance) and the result show that (Modify of the Euclidian Distance gave 100%)
We create our database (150 images) for training and 100 images for testing
