Physico-chemical behaviour of [Emim][Bf4]/ [Bmim][Bf4] with 3MA
Abstract
The physico-chemical nature of several mixture compositions of the binary systems [Emim][Bf4]/ [Bmim][NTf2] with 3MA in the temperatures range (298.15 to 323.15) K has been studied in detail from the basic data of density and speed of sound. The work definitely shows that the simultaneous analysis of excess properties is able to offer an extensive explanation for intermolecular interactions happening in the mixture systems, particularly if the part molecules have various sizes. Additionally, the outcomes obtained from the excess properties are well supported by the experimental as well as computational infrared spectroscopic studies. The accurate information of thermodynamic qualities of these investigated combinations can be useful in the preparation of nano materials, batteries, CO2 absorption process etc.
