Efficient Iterative Noise Filtering Method Using High Boost Filter

Abstract

Many methods have been used to reduce noise in an image. Noise is inserted into the image naturally which is unavoidable . The techniques used to reduce noise have reduced noise considerably but blurred the fine edges. In the proposed method iterative mean median filter is used to get minimum error rate, low pass filter is used to get further clarity and high pass edge boost is used to recover the edges which are blurred due to noise removel filter.
