Quick Response (QR) Code Based System for AP Card Usage at Asia Pacific University (APU)

Abstract

This paper presents the development of the Quick Response Code based system for AP card (student card) usage at Asia Pacific University Malaysia. The existing system is currently using a manual method, which is time-consuming and more complex. Therefore, this research proposes a QR based system that enables online payment. The study reveals that most of the respondents prefer mobile application services due to reliability, convenience, speed, safety, security, cost-effectiveness, user-friendly, and error-free system.
