Recent Cyber Breaches in Malaysia and Possible Countermeasures

Abstract

With the advent of technologies, people are getting more connected to each other. The same goes for fellow Malaysians. However, advancement is often a double-edged sword, where benefits could be reaped, it could also be misused to fulfil individual greedy goals illegally. This paper explores various types of cyber breaches terrorizing Malaysians and the safety of online behaviours among Malaysians in the recent years. It also focuses on mitigation or countermeasure processes or techniques.
