Abstract

M-Commerce refers and implies to the payments made through the use of mobile devices for dealing in different product and service. The increase of penetration of cellular devices has led to the sub sequent growth of M-commerce in every business avenue which in turn is a result of gradual engagement with customers and new business models along with new marketplaces. In developing countries like India, smartphone usage is increasing at a high pace, but implementation rate of mobile based commerce is far below optimum level. Current research article examines the essential factors affecting adoption of mobile based commerce among Indian micro enterprises. An examination of literature associated with aspects of the determinants will lead to the development of frameworks to understand acceptance and use of Mobile based commerce among the micro enterprises in India. Then framework will be verified and checked for the validity by making use of SEM over the responses gathered from 162 micro enterprises in India. The present research study helps in getting an improved theoretical framework about adopting mobile commerce in emerging nations like India which will lead to the underpinning of various interventions to improve the promotion of M-Commerce and also assists companies in formulating appropriate marketing strategies to develop applications that simplifies people’s life satisfying various stakeholders
