GSM based switch control system by using arduino board
Abstract
When the electric line repair and maintenance work is progressed, fatal electrical accidents chance is occurring to the line man. To protect him, a system is identified and it is of switching circuit by using password presented in this research. In this the control of the circuit is provided at the substation. The line man people have to register password in the control circuit to disable the particular line with electrical power. Now as there is no power in the line, the repair work can be done patiently. After the work is over, the circuit can be enabled by the lineman only by himself by registering again the password in to the circuit. The activation and deactivation of the switching circuit is displayed by lamp in our model. The arduino board with key pad, GSM module and the relay circuit are interfaced. The password is registered in the arduino board, so that through GSM module the circuit can be enabled by the line man person by himself after the work is over. GSM module is used here for establishing communication between system and arduino board. Three different loads can be activated and deactivated in this model. This will be useful to the human working in most dangered places.
