Blended learning and academic performance of university students under the Corona schedule: studying private universities in Kurdistan

Abstract

Blended learning improve learning, is progressively becoming an anticipation for University students. Blended learning permits for the improvement of face-to-face interaction between lecturers and students, consuming internet or Laptop or Mobile based tools. Quantitative data was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire. The participants were from different private universities in Erbil. This sample had to be chosen due to some circumstances in the country and limited possibilities of access to certain parts of the country. Based on the research questions of the study, a total of 158 students from selected private universities in Erbil responded to the questionnaire.  Moreover, College of Language, college of law, college of Administrative and economics, and college of computer science were involved the current study. The finding showed that blended learning has significantly predicted academic performance (the value Beta = .779, p<.001, consequently the study came to conclude that blended learning has significant relationship with academic performance at selected private universities in Erbil.
