Choice Of Material And Thermal Hardening Of Surface Layers Of Casting Steel Parts Of Soil Processing Machines And Mechanisms
Abstract
The article examines the chemical composition of the hard alloy and steel, phase composition, microstructure, hardness, microhardness, and depth of the surface carbide coating on the samples and parts obtained by casting according to the gasified model, on the working surface of which a powdered hard alloy is applied. The surface layers of cast parts of tillage machines with a coating depth of 1.0 to 3.0 mm are analyzed. The results of abrasive wear of cast specimens with carbide coating before and after thermal double hardening treatment with quenching and subsequent tempering are presented. It is proved that the optimal hardening heat treatment of such parts increases the abrasive wear resistance and durability by 2-3 times.
