Abstract

In this paper, we studied the physical and chemical properties of battery waste with a lead content of 2-4%. The optimal concentration of sulfuric acid is selected for leaching lead from waste. It was found that at a concentration of 3% acid, the leaching process is most effective under static and dynamic conditions. A scheme for recycling lead from waste and an installation for leaching lead with sulfuric acid has been developed. Spectral analyses were performed to determine the lead concentration after treatment with sulfuric acid. it was found that the lead concentration in this method was 0.58%, and the MPC (???) in the soil was 0.6%.
