Reduction of storage and transmission requirements in IoT - Using Video Compression
Abstract
Due to rapid development in the internet protocols and communication technologies, tremendous changes are happening in the video conferencing and compression systems. These standards suggest the need for Motion Estimation and compression to eliminate the temporal redundancy between adjacent frames of the video sequences. For this purpose, the search patterns addressed by this method may be small or large patterns, depending on the number of check points. The Content block test zone search (CBTZS) algorithm starts with the content block division with the origin as the center of the diamond search pattern. In some video frames, the origin may not result in good evaluation parameters. The CBTZS after determining the content coverages to clock searches only when the motion vector obtained from the CBTZS results in smaller error. These makes it time consuming. CBTZS builds sensible search patterns and it is the fast and successful methodology. Along with CBTZS, a parallel transformation technique based on the Hybrid Wavelet Transform method developed for frame compression. The simulation results show that the proposed method shows enhancive results compared to the conventional approaches.
