Synthesis, Characterization and Electrical Conductivity of Transition Metal Complexes of Tri-Thiocarbonate and Phenol-Thiourea Based Ligand
Abstract
Mixed heterobimetallic ligand complexes of type [M(CS3)2][M'(L)2], [Cu Co(CS3)2(L)2] and [Cu(CS3)2][VO(L)2.H2O] have been formulated and spectroscopically characterized using IR, 1H & 13C-NMR, UV-Visible, and ESR spectroscopy (where M= Cu(II) and M'= Co(II), Ni(II) & Zn(II) and L= 4-nitrophenolbenzaldehydethydethiourea based ligand (L). The powder XRD patterns of the complexes were also analyzed. It has discussed the room temperature solid state electrical conductivity and structural dimensions of these complexes.
