Interrelationship Between Morality and Safety of Mind

Abstract

Since the Buddha guided to give up life and not to ruin morality when one’s life is compared to his/her morality to sacrifice, we can realize that morality is more vital even than life. Again, as morality is a process to control the mind, it interrelates to safety of mind. All people need to know about morality to use it in our every-day life. Heart of the people who does not know it cannot, strongly, build to develop purification from defilement of mind. Otherwise, one devoid of morality is not able to attain the Nibba?na (bliss) because an immoral person cannot have the superior mind. This article also intends to especially describe interrelationship between morality and safety of mind according to Buddhism. We believe that the article will offer a fresh idea about morality (Si?la) to readers and researchers.
