Abstract

The aim of this research paper is to find out how the independent variable changes the dependent variable. Through correlation and regression analysis, relationship, nature of the relationship, and prediction can become clear about the variables of interest and assumed association between dependent and independent variables. This research derives a formula for finding the number of changes the independent variable/s will bring independent variable/s if it is changed for some specific amount. The methodology used includes hypotheses testing and questionnaire survey and their analysis through SPSS tools. A formula was derived and checked through Maple for finding out the exact amount of change. The result of the study is applicable for all types of relationship which can be tested through correlation and regression analysis.
