Implementation of Mellin Transform based Cryptography on FPGA

Abstract

Mellin transform due to its scale invariant property has gained attention to various real time applications such as signal and image processing including speech processing, pattern recognition and speech recognition, Mobile, Network, Information, Security, e-mail and Firewall etc. Today, all these applications demand a reconfigurable hardware platform for the implementation.

In this paper we discuss the Mellin Transform based encryption and Inverse Mellin transform based decryption of for the given data using a polynomial function.
