LABVIEW Based Data Acquisition and Control of Primary Standard Gravimetric System
Abstract
The accuracy requirements for a flow meter is very high and in order to ensure accurate flow measurements, they must be periodically calibrated. Primary Standard Gravimetric System (PSGS) at HPATF Lab, FCRI is one kind of a system for the calibration of Industrial Flowmeters with Air as a Medium. For a real time approach, efficient testing and accuracy requirements this paper has designed aLabVIEWBased Automation System for the Data Acquisition and Control of PSGS. The Hardware System, Data Logging and Supervisory Control (DSC), Software Processing method and Report Generations has been introduced in this paper. The test result shows that the system is very user friendly and is able to decrease the workload, acquire great accuracy and real time testing results by using different NI modules and used for various applications.
