An Investigation of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure and Shared Value affecting on Firm Performance of Thai Listed Companies
Abstract
This research investigates the effects of corporate social responsibility disclosure (CSRD) and shared value (SV) on firm performance. This research used a quantitative research approach to examine such relationship using the empirical data of 354 listed companies in 7 industries from the SET of Thailand. Data were collected and analyzed through multiple regressions. Findings showed that: 1) CSRD has a positive impact on firm performance, 2) CSRD has a positive impact on SV and 3) SV plays a significant role as a full mediation on return on assets. CSR and SV help businesses to build trust in society as well as increase firm competitive advantage which lead to sustainable social value creation.
