Abstract

PPMI is a global database that promotes the research and therapeutics development for individual suffering from Parkinson’s Diseases. It is a centralized database consisting of clinical, genetic and image-based information related to Parkinson’s Disease. To ascertain the progression a longitudinal study is generally performed which is done by analyzing the data using statistical tools as well as machine learning. However, decoding the data and analyzing the trend of the database is an important study to embark upon the correct type of statistical model and machine learning algorithm. In the present paper we have attempted to correlate the age, gender and UPDRS score (Motor and Total) to understand the trend of disease.
