Abstract

A novel material was originate from sol-gel auto combustion route, the material was lanthanum doped magnesium ferrite Mg LaxPrYFe2-X-YO4 (X= 0.05, 0.08   and Y= 0.1, 0.15), this composite ferrite was prepared by above method and get sintered with the help of microwave furnace at 1050oC temperature, to improve both the electrical and magnetic characteristic of the material for constructing Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA) for microwave applications. The material was recognized as n-type semi-conductor behavior by semi-conductance test method. In this proposed work, we will investigate the properties of the novel materials  and found that it’s suitable for MPA to design and develop particularly for ISM band (2.4 GHz) microwave applications. The designing and analysis of rectangular MPA  is presented, the dielectric constant and resonant frequency of the antenna is 2.25, 2.4 GHz respectively. The simulation results of antenna are performed by  ADS Software (2009 version). In this paper, the effects of various antenna parameters like return loss, directivity, antenna gain, impedance parameters etc. are also studied.
