Protection Circuit Design for Electrical Applications using Silver Nanoparticles and Optical Sensing

Abstract

We present experimentally the fabrication of silver nanoparticles on a glass substrate (Ag-NPs) where the test of water content in the transformer oil is made. The E-Bean evaporation take place to deposition the silver on glass substrate where thermal dewetting take place with 250oc for 2 hours created the silver nanoparticles (Ag-Nps). This Ag-NPs has been analyzed by Energy dispersive x-ray (EDX) where Ag-NPs shows localized Surface Plasmon Resonance LSPR. Further study the properties of Ag-NPs then we apply on D-fiber to detect the water content in transformer oil this give good promising to apply in engineering industry.
