Abstract

The viral use of nanotechnology in most of the industries worldwide and particularly in oil and gas industry. There was massive need for introducing this technology to oil and gas industries .using these materials to alter the mud into anew formula to be used for drilling high pressure and temperature wells. Controlling the drilling fluid rheology affect the economic part of drilling program by reducing the non-productive time. Controlling the additives (Chemical and non-chemical) of the mud leads to the required mud properties which control the well stability. This study compare these two element (Barite, nano Hematite"70-90"nm) in different concentration , add to basic drilling mud Fresh / tap water was used at a density of 8.5 ppg (1.0185 g / cm3).
